It’s October 1st! And you know what that means?! HALLOWEEN!
…
……
Well maybe not yet, but it’s in the same month … sooooo close enough?
To start off the fall festivities, my friends and I headed off to McMillan Farms the other day!
For anyone in the Kelowna area, I would highly recommend going!
There were SO MANY PUMPKINS!
SO MANY!
SoOoOoOo MANY!

aaaand a few more
Just a few
I was literally in my own personal heaven.

If I can one day just live on a farm that has a pumpkin patch during the fall, then my life would be complete. Could you imagine? Chickens and goats running around AND A PUMPKIN PATCH?
The McMillan Farm also has a corn maze (although I didn’t try it out this time around – next time!)
This is how those alien abduction movies start, isn’t it? Being lost in a corn maze? Crop circles and ish? Oh boy.
Can’t wait to go back and buy a pumpkin (or 10)!
xx
it’s cute! pumpkins all aver 🙂
Lovely post! I’m from Canada but currently live in Sweden. This kind of fall/Halloween-decorated farm is something I really miss from home. They just don’t go all out here like the Canadians do.
Thank you! Are there any celebrations/festivities that they do in Sweden that you wouldn’t really see celebrated in Canada?
Definitely! In Sweden, there’s a tradition called Midsummer (Midsommar in Swedish). It’s celebrated every year near the end of June – usually on the longest day of the year. People raise a maypole, dance around it, drink around it, stay up super late (if not all night) and wear flowers in their hair. It’s pretty awesome!
That sounds like so much fun and so magical!! I hope I’ll get to experience that one year!
I hope you do it! It’s really unique and it’s really cool how it doesn’t get dark at night during that time of year.
