BUDApest

So my mom and I didn’t have much time in Budapest – 3ish days to explore.

Note: For anyone planning a trip to Budapest – I definitely think that you need at least 1 week. There is so much to enjoy! I really rushed through everything, but I think that if I had 1 week, I would have been able to slow down a bit and definitely would have been able to see more. I guess now I have an excuse to go back? (hehehehehehuhuhuhuhu)

Since time wasn’t really on our side, my mom and I decided that for one day we would explore Buda and the next day we would explore Pest (on the third day we would be leaving, so that was more of a ‘go wherever we want to go most’ day).

In my previous posts I already mentioned some of the places we went to in Buda (Exploring more of Castle Hill, View from Castle Hill, Statues on Castle Hill, Matthias Church, Walking up Castle Hill), in this post I just wanted to share with you some more pictures of areas in Buda closer to the Danube that we came across.

The Zero Kilometre Stone (on the left) – This stone marked the reference point from which all road distances to Budapest were measured

This city is beautiful, exquisite, and has so much character. It is almost as if every wall, every crevice, and every corner has its own story.
