Exploring Old Town

Today I got up very early…*cough* …maybe…. not really…..

Sooo, truth is, I got up at 11:30am when I should have gotten up by at least 9am. I blame jet lag.

I made myself a simple breakfast and went out into the balcony to get my first good look of Bratislava (since when I got here it was pitch black and hadn’t really seen much).

At around 1:oopm I was off for the first day of my adventure! I first crossed the Danube, and it was lovely! But if you looked straight down into the water it was quite murky – not quite sure if that’s because it’s dirty, or because it has a lot of minerals. *shrugs*

You may think “hey gurl, you be lyin, that water looks mighty fine”, but I swear it looks murky when you look at it close up!

It took around 30 minutes to walk to Bratislava’s Old Town and I spent a good 4.5 hours there. And of course, I ended up taking a gazillion pictures.

I didn’t have any specific plans for the day, just to explore and enjoy the beauty of Old Town.

Oh wait… that’s not a statue… that’s a human being…

And made some new friendsIMG_4194.JPG

All in all, it was an amazing day and I can’t wait to share the rest of my adventures with you all!
