I always find that it’s the journey to the finish point that makes the ending so much more worth it. The harder it is to get to where you want to be, the more you appreciate the results.
This analogy is not only relevant to the challenges that one faces in life, but can also be applied to the places you travel to. For example, the more challenging a hike to get to a summit, the more you appreciate the view.
This was the case when I went to Lighthouse Park. Although the hike to our destination was not something I would define as ‘challenging’, I wouldn’t categorize it as ‘easy’ either.
For anyone visiting Vancouver, this is a definite must-see place. Its view is hauntingly beautiful and the atmosphere is so serene.
If I lived near this area, this would definitely be a place I would go to if I needed some alone time, if I wanted to just feel at peace, or if I wanted a place to sit down and appreciate everything that has been given to me in this life.
